This course gives a great overview of the different types of mental disorders including depression, eating disorders, personality disorders and schizophrenia. This course provides a great introduction to the subject and a spring board on to further study. This course will also help you gain an awareness of mental heath that would be useful in all areas of life.

With this being a Level Three course, a reasonable level of literacy is required. Otherwise there are no entry requirements for this course, just an interest in the subject.
It is recommended that approximately 110 hours of your time should be allocated towards study for the Mental Health and Psychiatry Level 3 Course.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Level 3 NCFE Certificate in Mental Health and Psychiatry.

There is no exam as such, although you will be required to complete a series of tutor marked assignments. There is no word count for these assignments although you do have to prove to your tutor that you have fully understood the questions asked.
